Good morning from the wintery depths of Tasmania. The days are shorter and definately colder and there is nothing better than scrapping by the fire - just love winter!!!!
Today I have prepared an art journal page which is about release - live, dream, free yourself from the day to day activities.
I started by applying washi tape, masking tape, and plasterboad tape to the pages.
I then randomly applied crackle paste to my pages and texture paste with a Kaisercraft diamond stencil. I used some chipboard off cuts from Whichcraft Do You Do and I covered this all with a light coat of gesso.
I sprayed Colour Blast Shimmer Sprays - Rose Petal, Lipstick, Royalty, Dusty Charcoal and Lovely Lilac drying in between each colour.
I used Colour Blast Embossing Powder - Royalty and Lovely Lilac on the WhichCraft Do You Do chipboard
Final touches with Kaisercraft Clear stamps, 7 Dots Cold Country Word Stickers and Distress Crayon in black around the edges. Here are some close ups:
