"She Blooms" by Michelle Logan

Hi Everyone I am back with an Art Journal page to share!
Have you got your hands on any Colour Blast goodies yet? If not, well maybe I can inspire you to get out there and grab some!
So I have been playing with the Colour Pastes and Sprays here to create my Blooming Girl.
So here she is......

I used the sprays in Dusty Charcoal and Steel through a couple of stencils...... really just sprayed around randomly to give my acrylic splashes a little shimmer!

I then stamped my girl, a Donna Downey Stamp with Stazon ink, drew her some shoulders and gave her some shadows to make her "pop".

I then grabbed some colour paste in Rose Petal and applied it through a stencil to give my girl a flowery dimensional crown. This gave the page some shimmery goodness as well as adding some amazing texture!
I did not waste any paste (hate to do that) as I flipped the stencil to add some more flowers into the background as well to tie it all together.

After the paste had dried I then added some highlights with a white Paint Pen by Sharpie and to my delight I found that the pen glided onto the paste beautifully and stayed put!!!!
I added some scripty scribble and my page was done!
Here are the Colour Blast products I used:
Dusty Charcoal Shimmer Spray

Rose Petal Colour Paste

And here is where you can get your hands on them:
I love how she turned out, moody but girly, what do you think??
I hope I have inspired and thanks so much for for dropping by!

Michelle
